• Please compress all the required files into one .ZIP file on your computer
• Please ensure the .ZIP file label includes your last name so we can identify it upon receipt.
• Your named .ZIP file containing the following Supporting Materials required for your specific grant or award:
  1. Artist Curriculum Vitae (CV): PDF
  2. Budget: PDF
  3. Letter of Support: PDF
  4. Image List: PDF
  5. “Portfolio” Subfolder containing images, samples and documentation of recent work

• Click the “Upload Files” button and select the .ZIP file from your computer
• Insert your email address under “Your Email”
• Insert your name in the “Title” field
• Insert “grant application” or “award nomination” in the “Message” field
• Hit “Transfer” to send the file to WEA.

• Applications will be accepted up until midnight on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
• The jury panel will be deliberating on the award & grant applications in mid-April.
• If the jury selects you as the successful recipient of an art grant or Arts Leadership Award, WEA’s President Stephanie Barnhard will call and/or email you the good news on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. All other applicants will receive an email informing them of the jury’s decision.
• All successful grant and award recipients are expected to attend The WEAs Awards and Grants Celebration on May 31, 2024 at Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre for recognition and celebration.
